Menoka has been a proud Floridian for 13 years. Menoka graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in 2004. She is owner to three of the greatest dogs in the world. An American bulldog/collie mix named Shelby. And two pocket pitties named Sadie and Trip. Needless to say there is never a dull moment in her life and hilarity continuously ensues. Growing up with miniature dachshunds, dogs have always been an important part of her life. Menoka came to dog training after several years of being a hands on supporter and volunteer to local area shelters. Wondering what she could do to prevent dogs from being abandoned by their owners for solvable behavior problems, she decided to enroll in Animal Behavior College to become a dog trainer. Now Menoka is committed to helping people understand their dogs and improve the relationships of dog and owner in NE Florida.
Menoka is a certified dog trainer and member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She underwent an apprenticeship with Maggie Marshall, Maggie Marshall Dog Training, and an internship with Stacy Strickland, Jacksonville Humane Society. Menoka has expert knowledge in rescue dogs and shelter dog training.
"Helping animals, particularly dogs who are my one true love, have happy and healthy relationships with their owners has been a dream come true"
